This single-origin coffee comes from the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, where small family farms produce exceptional beans using traditional methods and careful post-harvest handling. Grown between 900 and 1,000 meters and fully washed for clarity, this lot is sun-dried when possible and mechanically dried only when needed.
The result is a smooth, medium-bodied roast with balanced sweetness and gentle acidity — a comforting daily brew with enough character to keep things interesting. Whether brewed in a French press, pour-over, or your favorite drip machine, this coffee delivers warm, familiar flavors with a clean finish and a touch of natural fruitiness.
We don’t add flavoring to our coffee — ever. All tasting notes come naturally from the origin, the bean, and the roast. What you taste is the real character of the coffee, not added extracts.
Tasting notes vary by roast level — check the drop-down menu to explore each profile.
At Dusty Rose Coffee Roasters®, we roast every origin in small batches to honor the work of the farmers and the integrity of the coffee itself. Each purchase supports our mission of rescuing horses — one cup at a time.
